Summer in Poland

I think that most of us like this magical season of the year. I certainly do. Stretching fields with blooming flowers, greenery, warmth and sun make a heart lighter and problems disappear. It is a time of discovering amazing places, swimming in lakes, sailing, kayaking, mountain climbing, sitting by the fire and baking sausages or marshmallows. I like doing all of these activities in the summer maybe except climbing in the high mountains - I don't have enough skills to do it. But I have climbed many times in the lower mountains ranges. Poland offers all of mentioned attractions - that's way it is ideal country to spend a holiday there. 

I'm a water animal :) so I highly recommend the north-eastern part of Poland, especially the region called Warmia and Mazury (It's a Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship). There are so many stunning lakes…… It's unbelievable that we have more than 3,000 lakes there. The lakes are connected by numerous canals and rivers creating a system of waterways for many kilometres. It is a real, breathtaking and sensational paradise for sailors. We call Warmia and Mazury “The Land of a Thousands Lakes”. Now you know where the name came from. Last year 2022, my close friend with her family spent their vacation there. It was her first time in Warmia and Mazury and she absolutely fell in love with those places. She loved it so much that they have already booked another holiday there. So they are going there in August 2023. 

In Poland, the average temperature in June 2022 was 18,6 degree, in July 2022 18,9 degrees, and in August it was 20,5 degrees

Don't be discouraged by low average temperatures because these are data from all regions of Poland, including the mountains (and the entire south of Poland is mountain ranges). It is worth noting that in other regions the temperature often reaches 30 degrees and, for example, on July 7, 2022, it was 37.8 degrees in Słubice.

I mentioned about Warmia and Mazury…… believe me this is my beloved place on earth. We are surrounded by lakes, forests and nature.

I have never been closer to a swan than in that moment. Amaznig feeling, I could almost touch him. There is also his family at the lake shore.

And if you don't want to walk, ride a bike or swim, but you are brave enough, you can always book a flight over Warmia
