Spring in Poland

When the days become longer and the sun shines stronger, I know that my beloved season is approaching. I love especially April, May and June. These three months show in the nature, everything, what I love. From April birds sing, mate, green buds appear on the trees, lawns are covered with colorful flowers. Tulips, daffodils, crocuses, dandelions bloom, insects and animals wake up from their winter sleep. Everything smells fresh. Nature comes to life. I like watching it. I like being part of it.

The temperature in March and April is not high. In 2022, average temperature (data from all over the country) in March was only 3,2 degrees and in April 6,7 degrees. In May the temperature rose to 13,5 degrees but in June it was almost 20 degrees. Of course the temperature is differential and depends on the region (for example in April, in the mountains is colder than in Mazowsze where our capital is situated).

A few photos from my collection. I hope you will like it :)

I like riding on a bike. Poland has many great and charming bicycle routes. You can sit and relax, think about important and completely unimportant things :)

This photo was taken by my husband when we were on bikes.

And like you see, you can admire pure beauty and a power of nature

Can you see that buddy? I'm sure you do!

We have several special places in Poland. One of them is Żywkowo. We have there the most popular and unique “stork village”. It is noted that Żywkowo is inhabited by 160 white storks living in their 42 nests. Żywkowo is located in the region of Warmia and Mazury (and the capital of this region is my hometown Olsztyn :)

You can safely take such a bouquet of wildflowers home. Cornflowers and poppies will brighten up any interior
