The 19th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition
The prestigious 19th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition is currently underway in Warsaw. The competition dates back to 1927. A record number of 642 pianists from around the world have registered for the music tournament at the turn of 2024 and 2025. Ultimately, 85 pianists from 20 countries qualified. The most strongly represented countries are China, Japan and Poland. By the way, the Polish capital offers beautiful gardens and parks, palaces, churches, museums rich in collections, as well as the restored Royal Castle.
